Adult Opportunities

Community Reformed Church offers several opportunities for adults of all ages.

6:15 a.m. - Prayer group meets every weekday morning.

SUNDAY MORNINGS

  • 7:45 a.m. - Prayer in the Chapel.
  • 10:15 a.m. - Childrens and Youth Sunday School
  • 10:15 a.m. - Adult Sunday School
  • WEDNESDAY EVENINGS

    Wednesday Nights Beginning September 10th.

    ADULT EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES

  • 5:00: start serving dinner (soup and salad supper) free-will offering
  • We are requesting that you sign up if you are planning

    on attending dinner each week so we have enough food.

  • 6:00: Children, youth and adult classes begin
  • 6:30: Choir
  • 7:30: Dismissal
  • Artist Expressions with Jan Glass:

    Polymer clay (a unique cra clay), arst Jan Glass is offering a class in creating 5 simple canes that can be combined to make a variety of complex canes. The canes can then be used to cover a variety of items such as beads, bottles and light switch plates. The class will meet 5 times and is limited to 8 percipients. All supplies will be furnished.

    STEPHEN MINISTRY TRAINING:

    Every day you see people who are hurting: those who have lost a job, have lost a loved one, have gone through a divorce, or are battling a terminal illness. Stephen Ministers are God’s representatives who bring his love to those who are hurting. God is waitng to make a difference in their lives through you! Training consist of a total of 21 weeks and you will learn listening skills, how to ask questions, and how to care not cure.

    INQUIRER CLASS: (6 weeks)

    For those interested in finding out more about Community Reformed Church. This 4 week class provides information about CRC including membership. You’ll get better acquainted with CRC and with others in the class. You’ll learn about staff, programs, vision, and leadership. You’ll review what CRC believes.

    GUITAR 101:

    Ever wanted to learn the basic chords of the guitar? What to learn to play some songs around the campfire? Ev Wujcik has agreed to come from 6:00 –7:00 each Wednesday night and share her expertise with anyone who wishes to learn. All you need is a guitar and a desire to learn.

    CHOIR:

    is an opportunity for you who love to sing and are willing to commit to weekly rehearsals. Rehearsals are approximately one hour beginning at 6:30 in the choir room! Prayerfully consider being a part of our VOLUNTEER CHOIR and experience the joy where the rehearsal often turns into a great worship me and through the music we find our spirits lifted and encouraged.

    Beginning October 22

    SUDS & Stuff

    Ever thought of making your own laundry soap? How about cleaning supplies? Want to make your own ‘facial scrub’ or get the calluses off your feet? Each week will feature making a new home recipe for your basic cleaning needs. All supplies will be provided and you will be astonished how inexpensive, practical, and how effective these products are. You will leave with the actual recipe and jug of what you made.

    Sunday Mornings

    Beginning September 14 10:15 a.m.

    Sermon Discussion Class will meet in the community room facilitated by Jim Malewitz. The fall series will consist of: God’s Love, Space Invaders, Leaving Behind, C’mon over, etc.. Come and join any me!
